Meet Atticus, Skipper; Douglas County Pets of the Week
They are available for adoption at the Douglas County Animal Shelter.
The Douglas County Animal Shelter has numerous dogs and cats for adoption every day! Here are two that are highlighted for this week.
Atticus (#11543) is a nice female Blue Heeler/Australian Cattle Dog who is active, full of energy, good-looking, and has a winning personality. Her grey and black on white coat is beautiful and she boasts a winning smile. She weighs about 30 pounds and is current with her rabies vaccination. She gets along well with other dogs and is friendly with children.
Skipper (#11538) is a very impressive adult cat who is big, beautiful and loves to be petted. He has beautiful yellow/green eyes and an unusual coat that is black, brown and orange stripes. He’s very friendly and loves to be in someone’s lap.

These and many other animals are available for adoption Tuesday - Sunday afternoons at the Douglas County Animal Shelter located at 1755 County Services Road adjacent to the Cedar Mountain Landfill. All adoptable pets can be viewed on www.petfinder.com.
