Meet Amigo, Basson and Bibi: Douglas Co. Animal Shelter's Pets of the Week

Adoptable animals are listed on www.petfinder.com.

Each week, the Douglas County Animal Shelter highlights a cat and a dog as the “Pets of the Week”.  All animals at the Shelter are looking for loving and permanent homes, and it is hoped that the “Pets of the Week” highlight will help bring attention to all of the animals currently housed at the Douglas County Animal Shelter.

Amigo (#11305) is an extremely nice senior Chihuahua mix.  A little bit larger than a typical Chihuahua, Amigo is fawn and tan with an illustrious smile.  This is an ideal dog for someone who enjoys a quieter companion who will not leap over sofas with a single bound, but still has a lot of love and life in him.  Amigo has already been altered and is current on his rabies vaccination.

Brother and sister kittens, Basson (#11417) and Bibi (#11419), are the cats of the week.  Adorable is the only word to describe this pair!  Basson is a black male domestic long hair, and Bib is the female black and orange tortoise shell.  Cute and playful, these kittens will provide many hours of entertainment.
