Lucky Contestants Get Free Book Grab

Five poets who have reached the final round in the American Poet Georgia Sports competition got a chance to grab some free books on Saturday. on Hwy 5 sponsored a "Free-4-All Shopping Spree" at their store. They gave the finalists from the American Poet - GA Sports competition a time limit of three minutes to stuff as many books into their basket as they could. They also gave a $25 gift certificate for any item in the store as a door prize, along with other prizes that included a 30-minute massage, two dozen cookies, and a copy of a new book. Alice Shapiro, Poetry TV founder, has been having the competition filmed in hopes of creating a reality TV series. Total Recall  Press has donated a book contract to the winner of American Poet - GA Sports.
