Local Kroger Stores Raising Funds for Oklahoma Tornado Victims

Want to help those affected by the deadly aftermath of the Oklahoma tornadoes? Simply head to your neighborhood Kroger store in Douglas County and make a donation through your purchase.

Through Sunday, May 26, Kroger stores throughout the Metro Atlanta Area are collecting funds to donate to the American Red Cross, which is providing first aid assistance, meals, emotional support and other necessities to people affected by the Oklahoma tornadoes that touched down on Monday. 

Customers can “round-up” their purchases to the nearest dollar, or make separate donations to the American Red Cross at Kroger cash registers.

“We ask our customers to come together and help our neighbors and friends in Oklahoma as they look to rebuild their lives,” says Glynn Jenkins, spokesperson for Kroger’s Atlanta Division. “Through their donations, we can help make a difference for so many of those affected by this tragedy.”
