ID Your Child at GreyStone Meeting

The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the cooperative's main office in Douglasville from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free to the public.

In an effort to help make Georgia safer for children and families, Corporation will host a Georgia Child Identification Program (GACHIP) event as part of its Annual Meeting of Members. The event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 8 at the cooperative’s main office in Douglasville from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is free to the public.

GACHIP is one of the most comprehensive child recovery, identification and abduction awareness programs ever to be offered to parents in the state of Georgia. Representatives will provide free ID packets for children ages 4 to 16. All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

All of the identifying information collected at the event about the child is given to the child’s family. The GACHIP program retains only the permission slip that must be signed prior to participation in the event, and all other data is permanently erased after the child's document is prepared.
