When: Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon

Where: Sweetwater Creek State Park, meet at the Visitors Center in the nature trails parking lot.

Why go:  Learn about our local flora with a moderately strenuous 3-mile guided hike through a variety of beautiful wildflower habitats. A great activity with the kids!

Mortgage Seminar - Struggling to Pay Your Mortgage?

When: Saturday, 10 a.m.

Wilderness Survival Class

When: Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Sweetwater Creek State Park

Why go:  This course covers basic and some advanced survival techniques including how to build a fire, make an emergency shelter, navigation, and how to pack a day pack and first aid kit for survival.. Good for all ages, bring a sack lunch. Space is limited so be sure to register in advance 770-732-5871.
