The Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club is partnering with the Douglas County School System to present the second annual “Foxhall Family Festival” on Saturday, Oct. 5. The Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club located at 8000 Capps Ferry Road, Douglasville.
Admission tickets will be $5 in advance per person (children 3 and under admitted free). Tickets purchased at the gate on the day of the Festival will be $10 per person. If purchasing admission tickets in advanced, they may be purchased online at http://foxhallfamilyfestival.com/tickets/ or purchased at any Douglas County School System school.
In 2012, 11,000 attended and it is expected to grow larger this year This year’s Festival promises to be bigger and more exciting than last year’s spectacular event. It is an outdoor festival featuring fun, games, activities and lots of food. Scheduled outdoor activities include festival games, pony rides, archery, fishing, inflatables, hayrides, music, petting zoo, fun runs, food vendors, and more. New to the festival this year is the naming of the 2013-2014 Douglas County Teacher of the Year.
In addition to the Festival, Douglas County School System in partnership with E-1 Track Club of Douglasville will be hosting a Foxhall Family Festival Fun Run to promote physical fitness. Races are planned for toddlers - adult.
Fun Run Cost: $10 per runner. Each Runner will have to buy a fun run ticket at the festival.
Awards: Top 10 boys and top 10 girls in each category win medals. Races are being scheduled to run using the time schedule below. Please note that times may vary a little. When numbers are low, girls and boys in each category may also be required to run together.

Race waivers and payments will be handled the day of the event. Helpful Hint: Purchase fun run tickets at least 30 minutes prior to your race. Do not wait 5 minutes before the run - You may miss your race time.
