Factory Shoals Rules Reading Bowl

• Factory Shoals School Reading Bowl Team: Ages 11-14
• Accomplishment: FSMS won 2nd place at the Division One Bowl, making them one of the top four middle school teams in the state.

Key to Awesomeness: Schools first competed Feb. 5 at the University of West Georgia in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl West Regional Competition. Factory Shoals brought home the first place championship trophy from that event. They then moved onto the division competition on Feb. 26 where they competed for a spot in the state championships. Factory Shoals Middle School's Reading Bowl Competition team won Georgia's West Region, held in Morrow. The team received second place in the Division One Bowl and didn't advance to the final round, which was held in Athens.
