CVB gets New 'Tourist Information' Signs

The Douglasville Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) is excited to announce the placement of new “Tourist Information” signs located on Interstate 20, exit 37. These new signs will help direct visitors to our downtown Welcome Center and will give us a great opportunity to highlight Douglasville and share current 
information about the local area.

The original tourist information signage was taken down during the construction of the Fairburn Road bridge project and has now been replaced with the new signs. Now that the signs have been put back into place, visitors will have an easier time finding the Douglasville Welcome Center, stated Randi Miles, CVB Tourism Director.

With the addition of the new signs, the Welcome Center hopes to see increased traffic from visitors. The Douglasville Welcome Center offers brochures and information not only for Douglas County hotels and attractions, but also areas throughout the state of Georgia. In the next couple of months the center will also be offering Douglasville items for sale including t-shirts, coffee mugs, key chains and magnets.
