Conference Center Juggles 4 Events in 1 Day

The Douglasville Conference Center hosted three events on the same day last month.

Engineering, advocacy, piping, and waffles apparently share a common ground. Well, they did at least for one day. TRC Solutions, The Georgia Center For Nonprofits, Waffle House, Inc., and Central Pipe & Supply all made the Douglasville Conference Center, the venue of choice to host their corporate events on Thursday, Oct. 3.

“It was a good day at the conference center and for the city,” said Director of Conference Center Operations Jennifer Bean. From 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. the Douglasville Conference Center provided a diversity of services to over 260 guests including room rentals, catering, audio/visual, and shuttling.

TRC Solutions reserved the facility to host an employee meeting, and Carole Parks Catering, the conference center’s exclusive on-site catering service, prepared a continental breakfast to help kick start the event. The Georgia Center For Nonprofits used the conference center as a networking site, and Waffle House, Inc., hosted a 4-hour meeting for store managers enhanced with appetizers crafted by Carole Parks.
