Boys & Girls Club Hosts Spaghetti Dinner Saturday

The Douglas County Boys & Girls Club will host its 20th Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Sports Auction at the First United Methodist Church of Douglasville on Saturday,

The Board of Directors of the Douglas County Boys & Girls Club will host its 20th Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Sports Auction at the First United Methodist Church of Douglasville on Saturday, Oct. 13. All proceeds form the Dinner Auction will benefit educational programs at the Douglas County Club.

We invite you to spend “A Magical Evening “ with the Douglas County Boys & Girls Club as we celebrate our 30th anniversary, featuring the Club’s “Youth of the Year”, Ms. Aliyah Lee, Magician Merritt Ambrose and The Tin Roof Band. Enjoy a night of family fun, a delicious spaghetti dinner prepared by Sam and Roscoe’s, and let our special auctioneer Zach Spencer, get you to bid on rare live and silent auction items of autographed sports memorabilia, such as an autographed football by Douglasville’s own Mike Tolbert #35 -San Diego Chargers, fine arts paintings, sporting event tickets, specialty baskets and much more.

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with dinner served at 7p.m. There will be plenty of time to browse the auction items enjoying a magical evening and listening to good music. Tickets are $10 at the door and sponsorship opportunities are still available.

The Douglas County Boys & Girls Club, located at Hunter Park, has been a part of the Douglas County community since 1982. As part of the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, the Club offers specialized programming for children and teens
designed to help them become responsible adults. In addition, the new Teen Center is open! The Club continues to serve the youth in our community and still remains to be a “Positive Place For Kids.” Please join us and “Be The One…” as we strive to make a difference in the lives of our youth and teens.
