More than 50 kids played in the first-ever Vineyard Streetball Classic Atlanta 3 -on-3 Basketball Tournament.
Vineyard Streetball Classic, Inc. is a nonprofit serving the Martha's Vineyard and Metro Atlanta area’s to promote exercise, improve, and build basketball court play areas, by hosting annual basketball tournaments and educational programs.
The championship game for the 15 to 18 age group was Caduceus Occupational Medicine versus Professional Mojo.
Caduceus Occupational Medicine won the championship (11-9) with a 4-0 undefeated record.
The championship game for 12 to 14 was Puckett EMS vs Village Pharmacy
Puckett EMS went undefeated with a 4 -0 record and beat Village Pharmacy 6-2 in the finals.
"We would like to thank our volunteers from Goegia Highland College their Men's basketball team came out and played with the kids and Dalton Lemelle was a blessing providing his time and over 25 student volunteers. I also want to thank all of my Douglas County Chamber of Commerce members that supported our event," Omar Daniel said, event organizer.
