Friday, Sept. 27, 5 to 8 p.m.: Mason Creek Elementary School Fall Festival and Auction at the school, 3400 Johnston Road, Winston - adults free, $12 armbands for children, $1 tickets for food and other attractions - Open to the Public - food, games, inflatables, facepainting, pumpkin patch, horse rides - vendors invited!

Douglas County Courthouse, 8700 Hospital Drive - Free Admission, Open to the Public - over 100 vendors and exhibitors in the Community Marketplace - free rides and inflatable games - free computerized Child ID program - concerts from school and community choruses every 30 minutes on the Courthouse steps - food court - "Epic" animated family movie at 8 p.m. - lots of fun and lots of fellowship - it's all about community!
