While deployed, the units conducted more than 500 tactical missions in northern Kosovo; removed roadblocks and reopened the main authorized boundary crossing point in northern Kosovo after six months; removed the last major roadblock impeding freedom of movement in northern Kosovo.

Each month, the Sweetwater Camera Club hosts a photo contest consisting of three categories: Color prints, Monochrome (or black & white) Prints and Field Trip Prints. For the month of July, the topic was “From a Frog's Perspective.” These are the winning photographs from that competition. This month, there were 15 winners of the Sweetwater Camera Club’s July 24 Shoot Out/ Photo Scavenger Hunt which took place at the Douglas County Library. Photographers met in the early afternoon to be assigned 5 topics, and were given 3.5 hours to find subjects that fit the topics and photograph them, process the digital pictures and turn them in to be judged by photographer Rob Hainer.
