H.E.A.R.T. Is At The Shelter Today & Tomorrow

The Atlanta Humane Society H.E.A.R.T. Surgical Utility Vehicle is at the Douglas County Animal Shelter today and tomorrow. County residents who signed up for the $20 Spay & Neuter program will be there today having their pets spayed and neutered and receiving other vital veterinary services.

This program provided to Douglas County residents at low cost, is an example of a great partnership between Douglas County Animal Control and the Atlanta Humane society for the benefit of Douglas County residents and their pets.

And don't forget.......Saturday will be the second Saturday of "September Saturdays" at the courthouse and Animal Control will be on site once again with adoptable dogs and cats for the public to see and interact with. Last week was a great success with two dogs and two cats finding their forever homes as a result of the event and DCAC participation. So please come by and see the wonderful dogs and cats that will be available Saturday along with the dozens of vendors and many other country services that will be on display for the public.

We had our dog fixed by H.E.A.R.T. yesterday at the Douglas County animal shelter. They did a great job and it only cost 20 bucks. My dog is now singing in soprano. :)

The Atlanta Humane Society H.E.A.R.T. SUV visit to DCAC was a great success. Dozens of dogs and cats were spayed and neutered on site Wednesday and Thursday. Thank you to all who participated!
