Being the paranoid owner of a brand new Ford F-150 pickup, I didn't want to even consider the idea of taking it to a car wash to have it cleaned. I thought of the possibility of harsh brushes scraping down the side of my new truck and I cringed.
The old memories of felon-looking car wash guys hot-dogging my vehicle in the Los Angeles area were also fresh in my mind, so I thought "No car washes. I'm doing it all myself."
A few days later, I found a coupon in my mailbox for the new Cactus Car Wash, located at Douglas Blvd and Chapel Hill Road, here in Douglasville. The super low price on the coupon appealed to my cheap, money saving nature, so I decided to go take a look.
What I found was a friendly, professional staff, non-scratching neoprene strips instead of harsh brushes, a coffee kiosk with yummy, fattening pasteries, free internet and a management staff that truly cares about the customers. The car wash owner, Nate Smith was even present and greeting customers.
There were no short cuts in the service. They pulled the all-weather mats out of my new truck and completely cleaned them too. After I had pulled away from where they were drying my truck and was stopped, talking to the owner, one of the supervisors came over and wiped down a small area that he thought was imperfect. Their attention to detail impressed me.
As a former fruad investigator, I am a suspicious man who is sometimes tough to please. I have to say that these guys passed my test and I plan to return to Cactus Car Wash every time my truck needs their attention.

What a pleasant place to do business! I had used their services on Ponce in Atlanta and was delighted to see them opening up here.

What a pleasant place to do business! I had been to their location on Ponce in Atlanta a few months ago and was delighted to see them open up in Douglasville.
