William Thomas 'Tommy' Maley, 74, Dies
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 12, at 2 p.m. from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel.
William Thomas "Tommy” Maley, 74 of Lithia Springs, passed away, March 9. He was born Feb. 7, 1939 in Fulton Co., to the late James Maley and Gertrude “Gertie” Crisp Maley. He worked during his career as a plumber, truck driver and electrician. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and dearly loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, James Maley and Gertrude “Gertie” Crisp Maley, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mickey Maley and sister, Patsy Landers.
Survivors are his loving wife of 50 years, Jo Ann Maley of Lithia Springs; daughters and son-in-law: Pam and Michael Bowers, Patty Maley Rainwater and Bobby Rainwater, Paula Maley, all of Lithia Springs; brother-in-law: Jack L. “Dood” Sudduth of Lithia Springs; grandchildren: Michelle Toebben, Axl Rainwater, Gary Bowers, Owen Rainwater and Joseph Rainwater; great grandchildren: Andrew, Crishelle and Melanie; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 12, at 2 p.m. from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Riverview Memorial Park, Smyrna with Axl Rainwater, Gary Bowers, Bobby Rainwater, Lanny Sudduth, Sam Santos and Mike Lingerfelt serving as Pallbearers.
The family will receive friends, today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
