William "Bill" Joseph Mealor Jr., 59 of Douglasville passed away late in the evening on Friday, March 1, at his residence.

Bill was born to William Joseph Mealor and Lorena Frances Mabry on Feb. 28, 1954 at Crawford Long Hospital in Atlanta.

Bill had always been great with numbers and after graduating high school, he became an inventory auditor.

He had one son, Joseph Mealor who is proudly serving in the United States Army.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lorena Mealor. Survivors include his son, Joseph Mealor of Kansas and sister, Linda Mealor of Mableton.

Cremation will be entrusted to White Columns Funeral Chapel in Mableton. A memorial service may be scheduled at a later date.
