Chase Leads to Crash, Officer Assaulted

The Douglasville Police Department has arrested Megale Chadwick, and one man is still at large.

Officer Adam Forrester, Douglasville Police Department, started a pursuit of a stolen vehicle Tuesday night, beginning on Chapel Hill Road, that ended in a crash near Grace Lake subdivision.

Forrester captured Megale Chadwick of College Park, while another man ran away.

Police Chief Chris Womack said Chadwick and Forrester got into an altercation, and Chadwick punched Forrester in the face while trying to take his Taser and his gun.

Womack said Chadwick was arrested, and there were no serious injuries.

The other man is still at large.

Douglasville Patch will continue to update this story as details become available.

I wonder if the other man stole my son's truck later that morning. My son got up and found his truck missing, and we leave near Grace Lake. He probably didn't get far, because everytime I needed my son's truck, it was near empty.

Sorry, that's suppose to be "live" instead of "leave". Which explains the fast exits from spelling bees when I was younger.
