Ten Fatalties Reported in Christmas Holiday Traffic
The Georgia State Patrol reports its troopers have investigated 374 crashes with 150 injuries.
Ten traffic deaths have been reported since the 102-hour Christmas holiday travel period began Friday at 6 p.m. up to noon today, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
There have been 374 crashes with 150 injuries and seven deaths investigated by the Georgia State Patrol (GSP). Other agencies have reported three traffic fatalities.
Fatalities have been reported in the following jurisdictions:
- GSP Rome
- GSP Toccoa
- GSP Athens
- GSP Gainesville
- College Park Police
- Smyrna Police
- Newman Police
- GSP Grovetown
- GSP Thomasville
The travel period ends at midnight Tuesday.
