Summer Fun Includes Learning Online

These robust and interactive websites provide creative educational resources.

For some families, summer means carefree, no-schedule days filled with lots of pool fun and a break from the drudgery of school.  For others, it’s a chance to get a head start on next year’s lessons in order to insure educational success.  Whatever your choice, listed here are some fun educational websites that can help make learning fun.

Printables for Kids – The younger set loves coloring pages that feature their favorite characters and objects and this is the site that offers it all. All the coloring page printables are free, plus they also offer math worksheets, mazes and word scrambles too.

Discovery Education – By far the fanciest of the sites listed here, Discovery Education has portals for administrators, educators, parents, and students. Check out the Motivation Station and WebMath sections of the parent site for unique ideas to keep your child inspired to learn.

Handipoints – Geared toward Pre-K though elementary school, this site has lots of fun facts about science, health, history, holidays and more. The companion worksheets or coloring sheets assist with comprehension.

Edhelper – This site features well over a dozen categories of fun, challenging and creative educational worksheets from Pre-K to High School. We especially like the fun Word Searches since they’re a favorite in our home.

Cost of education nowadays is getting very high. And, if there is a requirement for a private tutor, then the cost become sky-high. I think in this scenario, online education is a better option. There are several sites available to help students getting homework help at a very nominal cost, for instance Tutorteddy.com.
