Shirley Jean Aiken, 71, Dies

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 to 9 p.m. The family will have a private family service Saturday, March 2, at the funeral home. She will be cremated following the services.

 

Shirley Jean Aiken, 71 of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27. She was born May 7, 1941 in LaGrange, GA. Mrs. Aiken was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Willene Jackson Griffin and brother, Bo Griffin.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Aiken; daughters, Maria Gaddis and husband Tony, Jill Galens, Renee Vowell and husband Ricky, Michelle Swafford, Maria Franklin, Melody Shores, Rodnai Felker, Leslie Roberts, Janelle Wilder; grandsons, Wesley Larkin and Nick Larkin; brother, Charles Griffin and wife Diane; sisters, Elaine Steer, Kay Tyson, Judith Williams; several nieces and nephews.
