On election day, all voters must vote at their assigned polling place and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
As of Friday, 33, 830 early votes have been cast, meaning 45 percent of active Douglas County voters have already voted, according to Laurie Fulton, Douglas County elections supervisor. Many more mail-in ballots still needed to be counted.
As of Oct. 27, there had been 12, 271 Douglas County votes cast.
On election day, all voters must vote at their assigned polling place and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (A sample ballot is attached.)
Many City of Douglasville residents must ask pollsters for an additional ballot to vote in the special election for Sunday alcohol sales. Pollsters will not ask if you would like the extra ballot.
Of Douglasville's 16, 619 registered voters, 789 voted in the City Special Election for Sunday alcohol sales.
The general election run-off (if necessary) will be Dec. 4.
Everyone interested in voting is encouraged by Fulton to visit the My Voter Page at the Georgia Secretary of State’s website.
