Readers' Choice: Where to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day

In our weekly poll, we're asking you to pick your favorite place to drink green beer and wear a shamrock T-shirt.

Douglasville Patch and other Patches in the region are asking people about the best place to spend St. Patrick's Day this Saturday.

Here are some of our favorite places around Douglasville, but if we're missing your pick, let us know in the comments below, and we'll add it:

Voting in the poll is open until 9 a.m. Friday. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

Because the poll is not scientific, we also will take into account positive comments in the section below, as well as reviews on Patch Places. Click on the business names above to review and rate them.

So tell us your favorite place to drink green beer and wear green, and don't forget to tell us why in the comments below.

Dallas-Hiram Patch and West Cobb Patch also are asking people to vote on their favorite places to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, so be sure to vote on your nearby favorites. Please vote only once per day in each Patch's poll.

Next week we'll ask for your choice for the best preschool in Douglasville.

Not on the list: Oz Pizza - 1851 Riverside Pkwy in Douglasville (Tributary's Village Retail Center) - is having a St. Patrick's Day Festival with:
"Great Food, Live Music, Bocce Ball Tournament, Badminton and Fun for the Little Ones"
With none of the traffic and parking hassles of downtown Douglasville.
From 2:00pm to 8:00pm on Saturday March 17, 2012.

Oz Pizza rocks. We go there at least once a week... the staff is very friendly and the food is great. It's a great place to eat and grab a beer, and we always see friends and neighbors there. When the weather is nice, the kids run around and play with their friends out in the green space. For St. Patrick's Day, we're going because of all the family friendly activities they're going to have.

St. Patty's is a good chance to try this place out. Riverside Pkwy at King, about a mile from Hwy 92. Good wine, and we appreciate the Lasagna. Yes, meatball lasagna.
