Public Invited to Funeral of 12-Year-Old who Died in Bike Wreck

Twelve-year-old Tristin Hall died Thursday after he hit a car while riding his bike July 17 near Cindy Drive and Pope Rd. in Douglasville. Tristin's father, Donald Aytch, said the public is invited to attend Tristin's viewing today.

 

Twelve-year-old Tristin Hall died Thursday after he hit a car while riding his bike July 17 near Cindy Drive and Pope Rd. in Douglasville. Tristin's father, Donald Aytch, said the public is invited to attend Tristin's viewing today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lithia Springs Church of Christ.

Hall was pronounced dead on Thursday evening at 6:25 p.m. after being taken to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and placed in critical condition. Cause of death was determined as blunt force trauma.

Family, friends, his football buddies from Mt. Carmel, and a lot of folks from his church will be attending the viewing, said Aytch. "He was very active at the church."

Funeral service will be held Friday, July 27, at Lithia Springs Church of Christ at 2 p.m. Elder Larry Acuff pastor/officiating. Private Interment. Professional funeral service entrusted to Tri-Cities Funeral Home 6861 Main St. Lithonia. For more information, call 770-482-2358.

This is in my neighborhood. The little boys was riding their bikes. Just being kids,I am sure the driver is devisiated in the matter because biker hit the car. Pease parrents the kids are all over the streets all nite long. I often have to go around some of them because they won't move out of the way. My heart goes out to his family an friends may god bless them all. Keep your kids safe an please tell them to stay out of the road these kids are priceless to everyone an you can never replace life or the memory of.

My son Michael went to school with Tristan and he used to come to our house when we lived in his neighborhood. We used to be afraid one of the kids would get hit going down that hill crossing Cindy because there is no stop sign. Tristan was such a smart, polite boy. We wont forget him.

This was my old neighborhood.I walked my dogs carefully there.The traffic was too much.I wish kids had a safer place to play and ride bikes,I was often concerned for them.Riding my bike was my favorite pastime as a kid.I am praying for the family,I send my deepest sympithy to the neighborhood kids who played with Tristan.Please be carefull yourselves. Tristian hall was a good friend even though I didnt know him that well. He was a good football player but even when we"re mad or sad he always know how to make them laugh But for know always keep tristian hall in your heart and for a the kids out there play safe....
