PT Solutions Hires Douglasville Native

Paul Muchnick, physical therapist and athletic trainer, was born and raised in Douglasville where he now serves as the new Director for the Douglasville branch of PT Solutions physical therapy. 

Paul was raised by Dan and Juli Muchnick who still reside and remain involved in the community of Douglasville. Dan, past chairman of the Board of the , has been a CPA in the community for 30 years and remains involved in the chamber and in the community. Juli is a physical therapist continuing to practice in the home health setting and remains involved with the community and Women’s ministries at .  Paul grew up involved in sports including football, golf, and tennis and became a Georgia State Wrestling champion in high school.

Paul attended Samford University where he graduated with a major in Exercise Science and Athletic Training. At Samford, he served on the sports medicine team working with the different sports and after graduation became a Certified Athletic Trainer. Paul went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. 

While at MCG, he completed a sports medicine residency with the University of Georgia football team as well as a residency at Piedmont Hospital. He now resides in Marietta, with his wife Natalie, who currently practices as an Occupational Therapist, and the two are expecting their first child in November.  Paul remains an avid golfer and is an involved player with the ALTA tennis league in Atlanta.

PT Solutions is a private physical therapist owned practice with eight clinics in the North Atlanta area. The business specializes in the manual hands-on treatment of orthopedic injuries including back, neck, shoulder, hand, knee and foot pain as well as working with the female athlete and Medicare patients. PT Solutions also incorporates research driven specific exercise prescription with dry needling to assist patients and athletes in returning to normal function.
