Nothing about the rededication? Or the idiots that were in a fight or brought weapons? What about the injured player that had to be taken off the field by an ambulance? This was a very stressful night for us parents.

I sense an incredible amount of sarcasm. The altercation was an unfortunate and somewhat isolated incident that honestly doesn't need press. For once it is nice to see positive press about an institution I care deeply about. It also hasn't been verified whether there were weapons.
As for the rededication, I feel that would slight it to mention it amongst the game and would except a separate write up. That said, I'd be more than happy to write said article.

Hi Whit Michelle, Thank you for your offer. We would love for you to write up something about the rededication and will be happy to publish it.

I agree. This was a night to remember in history for our community. The photos are nice, but the article deserves so much more. The award winning band is not mentioned either. Dr. Pritz & Principal Scott have done an awesome job of raising the level of our flagship High School (DCHS) & our entire school system not to mention the live of our young people all across the county. We need to celebrate this & let the world know. The story of last night was so much bigger than just a score of a football game.

I would love more than anything to be able to cover everything that happens in Douglas County but we just don't have the time/resources to do that yet. I appreciate viewers who participate in the discussions and help report what's going on in our community. The best I can do is to try and followup on Monday. Unfortunately we had a photographer at the game and not a reporter.

I was the photographer on-site, the photo gallery is simply highlights from the first half of the football as I had to leave at half time on another assignment. If there are any shocking events as mentioned I am always sure to shoot them and write about them.

Thanks Zachary, you did a great job. I simply meant that you were sent to take photos of the game not cover the dedication.
