I was in Goodwill when this was going on, and there were a lot of people standing in front of the televisions watching it. A couple of the older men stood there at attention and saluted. Very touching.

I was so touched that I cannot express it in words. My son stood in respect of his fellow Marine with his dress blues Uniform.

Such support from the community! Being an X Army wife and my daughter an Air Force wife living in the UK, I knew she wanted to be here with her Air Force wive friends and she was. As the procession came by I called her on her cell to listen the the sounds of Douglas County paying respects to their hometown hero!!!

I, too, am glad to see our community come together like this, but I am so much more proud of the brave soldier who fought for his hometown and his country. My thoughts are with his family.
