The Book Shelter, next door to Main Street Antiques, in Hiram! Peggy really knows her books, will order it for me if she doesn't already have it, and saves Mary Kay Andrews novels for me. Love the background music and atmoshphere there. They also have the best book-markers I've seen.

Main Street Antiques Market, by the railroad tracks, in Hiram is a fun place to shop, or just to look and remember! Owners, Bob and Kathy Bookout are good Hiram folks, honest, friendly and helpful. Their dogs, Darla and Rosie, {who want custo-mers to speak to them, or hopefully pet them}, are part of this store's charm.

Major Service Center, in Powder Springs is a good place to trust with your automotive needs. Owned/operated by Mike and Linda Hoffman, who give honest, affordable and friendly service. We've used this business for about 12 years, and never been disappointed in their work.

M & J Cafeteria on Powder Springs Rd at Macland Rd, by Publix, has the best lunch buffet, at a reasonable price. Many choices to eat, very good food. Love the chicken dumpling soup, which isn't really soup, just good juicy home-made chicken and dumplings. Fried or baked chicken, fried green tomatoes, greens, beans, real mashed potatoes and other taters, salad stuff, breads, veggies, everything in-between! ....and friendly staff.

The Book Shelter in downtown Hiram, they have a HUGE selection of books and the owner Peggy is always helpful with suggestions, and ordering books for me.

Agree with Major Service Center ... they are awsome. Have taken many cars to them over the years and never disappointed.
