No Serious Injuries in Hudson's BBQ Car Crash
There were no serious injuries after an elderly woman crashed her car into Hudson's Hickory House BBQ's front door about an hour ago.
An elderly woman was taken to Douglas WellStar Hospital for precautionary measures but it doesn't appear there were any serious injuries after the woman crashed her car into Hudson's Hickory House BBQ's front door this afternoon, according to Douglasville Police Chief Chris Womack.
"She just hit the gas instead of the brake," Womack said. No charges are pending in the accident.
It was fortunate no one was exiting or entering the building at the time of the accident, since it happened right about noon time, Scott Hudson said as he swept up glass from the front door. Hudson is one of the restaurant's co-owners.
The front door glass is broken and there is a sign sending people to the restaurant's side door.
