New Absentee Ballot Needed for Jan. 8 Special Election

Voters either 75 years of age and older or physically disabled are required to submit a new absentee ballot application if they would like to vote in the Jan. 8, 2013 Special Election for Senate District 30.

Elections Supervisors in Carroll, Douglas, and Paulding counties are notifying those voters who are either 75 years of age and older or physically disabled that they are required to submit a new absentee ballot application if they would like to vote in the upcoming Jan. 8, 2013 Special Election for Senate District 30.

Absentee applications may be obtained by contacting the appropriate elections office or may be downloaded at www.sos.ga.gov.  Voters are encouraged to apply now, the last day to submit an absentee application is Friday, Jan. 4, 2013; no absentee by mail may be issued after this date. Completed applications may be personally delivered, faxed or mailed.
