The three GOP State House District 66 candidates, all from Douglas County, met Monday night at a candidate forum and introduced themselves.

Mike Miller is a current Douglas County School Board member; Bob Snelling formerly served in the Georgia House of Representatives, 1995 to 2003; and Mickey Thompson served as Douglasville mayor for 12 years and as a city councilman for four.

The Republican primary is July 31. The winner of the primary will face Democrat Kimberly Alexander in the Nov. 6 election.

The new Georgia House District 66 will cover Douglas County and part of Paulding County.

The attached videos are of the candidates introducing themselves to those who attended Monday night's candidate forum at Sutton Hall in Douglasville.

Douglasville Patch will publish more video of the forum over the next few days.
