Marine Vet Rod Lee Grantham, 57, Dies

Rod Lee Grantham, 57 of Winston, passed away Saturday, April 13. He was born July 8, 1955 in Atlanta, the son of the late Oliver Franklin Grantham and the late Barbara Lee Boleman Grantham. He married Jody Kay Richardson on Oct. 30, 1988 in Douglasville. He was a veteran having served in the United States Marine Corps. He worked as a truck driver for Kilby Trucking Company. He loved music, old war movies and was an avid fan of NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife, Jody Kay Richardson Grantham of Winston; two daughters and a son-in-law, Shanda Kay Richardson of Winston; and Alexia and Eric Hathcock of Lithia Springs; stepmother, Marilyn Grantham of Lavonia; sisters, Dianne Phillips and Denise Duck; brother, Byron Grantham; several nieces and nephews.
According to the family’s wishes his body was cremated. No Service is planned at this time.
