Kristin Nicole Brooks Dies

The family will receive friends, Saturday, April 7 from 5 until 9 p.m. and Sunday, April 8, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

 

Kristin Nicole Brooks, 24 of Villa Rica, passed away, Wednesday, April 4. She was born Sept. 17, 1987 in Douglasville, to Mike and Beth Brooks. She was a homemaker.

Survivors are her parents, Mike and Beth Brooks; son: Carter Jaxon Shecter; daughter: Karleigh Mae Shecter and special friend, the father of her children, Timothy James Shecter; brother and sister-in-law: Trey and Nikki Brooks and niece, Emma Angelyn Brooks.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 9 at 2 p.m. from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Melrose Hills Memorial Park, Villa Rica. Serving as Pallbearers are Trey Brooks, Timothy Shecter, Frankie Brooks, Scott Smith, Chris Smith, William Brooks, Josh Bray and Christopher George.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, April 7 from 5 until 9 p.m. and Sunday, April 8, from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Apparently, she passed away at the age of 24. That in itself is tragic.

What a tradgedy.. 24 is just the start, our family will be praying for this family!! You must lean on our maker, to get through something so traumatic.. God will carry your load, believe me I have been there, and there is no way I could have gotten through it without the strength and the presence of the Lord... Douglasville resident; Kinn Smith...
