County's Most Wanted Fugitive Caught

Charles Leon Parker was arrested Saturday morning in Madison County, FL, after eluding authorities for 29 years. Parker was originally arrested Nov. 24, 1982, in an incest case in Douglas County. He failed to appear in court to face the charges of incest and child molestation. See the full Douglasville Patch story here.

Douglas County Woman Arrested for Illegal Botox Injections

Kristie Johnson, 28, is in the Douglas County jail this morning after being arrested by the Douglasville Police Department on Friday for giving Botox and other treatments without a medical license. See the full Douglasville Patch story here.

2 From Winston Killed in Crash

Michael Cory Camp, 21, was taken by ambulance to the hospital where he is in the Intensive Care Unit. Charges are pending against Camp because alcohol is suspected as a contributing factor in the crash. See the full Douglasville Patch story here.

Residents Fight Alcohol Changes

Pastors and former drug addicts stood together at Thursday night's Douglasville City Council work session meeting, in an effort to convince council members that no changes need to be made to the City's alcohol laws. See the full Douglasville Patch story here.

City Mulls Alcohol; Residents Speak Out

Approximately 300 people filled the council chambers, lined the hall, filled the lobby and overflowed into an additional room to let the Douglasville City Council members know how they feel about changing the City's alcohol laws. See the full Douglasville Patch story here.
