Police Search for Lottery Ticket Thief
Investigators from the Douglas County Sheriff's Department are in search of a man who entered the Shell Mart at 2959 Chapel Hill Rd. and took items inside the store including lottery tickets. The burglary occurred in the early morning Friday, June 8. See the full Douglasville Patch story here.
6U Bill Arp Braves Take First

GEMA Distributes Pre-Disaster Mitigation Assistance Funds to Douglas
The Georgia Emergency Management Agency/Homeland Security (GEMA), on behalf of Governor Nathan Deal, recently awarded a Pre-Disaster Mitigation Grant to the Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority for the replacement of the Chapel Hill Rd. culvert. Robinson Files Lawsuit Against Commission's Redistricting Map
