Gerald Ray Herring, Jr., age 46 of Dallas, passed away Aug. 4. He was born in Columbus, Georgia on Oct. 26, 1965 to Gerald Ray Herring and Sara Eugina Funderburk Herring. He worked as a quality control manager for Bosch Company and was a member of Clearview Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Herring Ardon.

He is survived by his daughters, Victoria Evelyn Herring and Elisabeth Macy Herring of Villa Rica; sister, Cindy Addison of Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Keith and Carol Herring of Douglasville; brother, James Ricky Herring of Douglasville; nieces, Sara and Samantha Herring of Douglasville.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, Aug. 9, at 3 p.m. from the Clearview Baptist Church in Douglasville with Reverend Donny Chandler officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 5 until 9 p.m.
