Dogs Abound at the Shelter

Five dogs are featured today and all are available at the Douglas County Animal Shelter.

Cassie Lee – ID#3427

She's a gentle, sweet, beactiful girl and a cuddler. She is a Terrier mix who is wonderful, affectionate and great with people and other dogs.

She's a Shepherd mix and a great, gorgeous girl. She is very sweet and great with dogs and people of all ages.

Carter – ID#3329

He's a great Shepherd-mix boy who is handsome and loves to be with people. He will make a great addition to any home.

Rudy – ID#3226

He's a Boxer-mix puppy who is super affectionate and playful. He is super cute and loves everyone he meets!

Cookie – ID#3465

Another absolutely wonderful Terrier-mix girl. She is gorgeous and so sweet and I loved spending time with her.

If you’re interested in adopting a pet, please visit the at 1755 County Services Road (off Cedar Mountain Road). The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. They are closed on Monday.   

The adoption fee for all dogs and cats is $25. All pets are required to be spayed or neutered within six months of adoption. Yearly rabies vaccinations are also required.
