DashCam Catches Police Chase, Rollover; 2 Suspects Flee on Foot
Officers of the Douglasville Police Department arrested two suspected burglars Tuesday night and two fled on foot after the suspects' car rolled over.
The Douglasville Police Department is searching for two suspects that fled on foot after a high-speed chase on Interstate 20 that led to a rollover Tuesday night. Two of the four suspects in the vehicle were arrested, according to the DPD's Facebook page.
The men are suspected of participating in two Douglasville burglaries that occurred overnight. One was at Douglasville Package on Douglas Blvd. and is believed to have been committed by the same suspects that hit 5 & 20 Package the night before.
The second burglary was hours later, according to the report, at Sound Proof on Douglas Blvd. Officers spotted the vehicle suspected of being used in the Sound Proof burglary and the suspects sped away when officers attempted to stop them.
If anyone has information on the liquor store burglars or the two suspects who got away, please call Douglasville Police at 770-920-3021.

Douglas County has their share of trash. Nice to see some scum was removed from the streets, now lets work together and gather the trash before they rob you or your company!

Sound Proof is a car stereo store, they sell and install car stereos, its not far from the Package store that was robbed as well. Also I wonder if the suspects are from douglas county, I noticed they were heading towards cobb and fulton. Let that be a warning to outsiders from other counties, Douglas County don't play around. You come to our county, commit a crime you will pay sooner or later.

Well Holly, if you read the sentence above the one you're quoting, you'll find that Sound Proof is the name of the business. It is also in blue letters indicating the business is linked to our business directory.

Want to know why I like living in Douglasville? It's because the Douglasville Police Department takes no crap from the bad guys. They haven't forgotten what good, old-fashioned police work is. They haven't become sissified and paralyzed with silly political correctness like most police departments have. As a great cop in Douglasville once said, "This is Douglas County and we don't play."

I second this.. these guys are saving our community and helping to preserve the quality of life here, and they have and deserve our support and praise! This is why everyone needs to make to sure to get out the vote for Sherriff Miller he works in tandem with the Douglasville Police; and No, I don't work for Miller's campaign, just a homeowner who had has Miller's officers respond to our community in a flash for any call, come out to talk to our HOA about issues, and help a resident get into her car after being locked out.. all of this and chasing criminals too.. Now that's service!!

I concur with Mr Jones, let's spread the word around. If you commit a crime is Douglas County, you will be caught. Thanks to the County's law enforcement. Kudos to all departments.

Kudos to those two police officers. They weren't going to give up. I wish they had another squad car to help them out then they would have gotten all four. No worries, I'm sure the two that were captured will rat the other two out. A job well done guys. I appreciate your effort.

I really like the part when he unnecessarily slams him down on the hood. Great way for a sgt to act.

Didn't take long for a criminal to respond with ignorant and uneducated comments. Hello andrew....it's past your bedtime.

There aren't any comments for someone like Andrew. This is why the crime rate in Douglasville has gone up. We are actually too soft on crime in the United States. Cable TV in the jails????? The police officers responded the way they should have. The two they caught were trying to get out of their grasp. Notice how young they were? I guess robbing hard working people is easier than actually working for a living.

Andrew, just so I understand. That is what you noticed? Not the fleeing at over 100 mph? Not the driving with no lights on? Not the driving on the wrong side of the road? Not the running of red lights? Not the breaking into businesses? Maybe he should have used padded gloves to handle him. There no kicks, hits, or any type of strikes but you have an issue with him not laying the guy down on a pillow. You my friend are an idiot and the product of poor parenting.

Thanks Bob, not to mention the danger he put the officers in by fleeing the scene.. after robbing the people trying to make a decent living. I thought frankly the officers handled them too nicely.. and before any racist claims are spewed, I am a black woman....but I have NOOO sympathy for criminals of any race!

Bob, so because I make an observation I am assumed to be a crminal and an idiot? You presume to know what my upbringing was like because I express an opinion different than yours. I can assure you several things. A few are that I have a far better education than you, I am certainly not a criminal, and apparently I have been raised better than you because I don't result to name calling when someone's opinion is different than mine. I also know this because i have better things to do than sit at a computer and troll local news blogs at 2 AM on a thursday.

Andrew, one thing I can assure you is that you do not have a better education than I which is evidenced by your writing skills. Secondly, you also lack common sense and are a troll because you sit at home and Monday morning quarterback these officers. Lastly, I wasn't name calling, rather, I was making an obvious observation based on your idiotic comments.
