County-Wide Recycling Event Slated for March 23
The Douglas County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Douglas Class is sponsoring a County-wide recycling day that will benefit The CarePlace, a new medical clinic that will soon open in Douglas County.
The Douglas County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Douglas Class is sponsoring a County-wide recycling day in partnership with N.W. Georgia Recycling. Efforts will benefit The CarePlace, a new medical clinic that will soon open in Douglas County.
"This is just one of three service projects we're doing this year," Bennett Oliver said, Leadership Douglas classmember and City of Douglasville Parks and Recreation director. "The proceeds from the recycling event will go toward the landscaping project outside The CarePlace."
Recyclables can be brought to 6034 Douglas Blvd. Douglasville Ga. 30135., (The old Jordan Tractor Lot), on March 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Loads will be emptied from vehicle by volunteers from the class.
