Carolyn Elizabeth Strickland Dies
Graveside services were held today, at Cold Springs Cemetery with Bro. Johnny White and Bro. Bob Eidson officiating.
Carolyn Elizabeth Lee Strickland, age 84 of Lithia Springs, passed away, Wednesday, Nov. 16. She was born Oct. 11, 1927 in Douglas County, to the late James Duard Lee and Opal Eidson Lee. She worked for the as a custodian and served a number of years at Lithia Springs High School. She was a member of the Union Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, James Duard and Opal Eidson Lee, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Milford Strickland, brothers: Ray, James and Lewis Lee and grandson, Jonathan Strickland.
Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law: Vicky and Mack Richardson of Lithia Springs, son and daughter-in-law: Ricky and Lisa Strickland of Winston; daughter: Debra Strickland of Lithia Springs; sister and brother-in-law: Helen and Leon Hudson of Hampton; brother and sister-in-law: Tony and Joy Lee of Winston; grandchildren: Sabrina Collins, Joshua and Nicholas Richardson; great grandchildren: Garrett, Madison, Kelsey and Brody Collins, and Katelynn Richardson.
