On April 27, a wide variety of vendors will gather at the Downtown Conference Center on Church Street to showcase their services at the Douglasville Bridal Showcase and Reception. From 6 to 8 p.m., brides and their guests will have an all-access pass to meet experienced wedding professionals and speak with the area's finest wedding-related service providers.
Also at the show, guests can enjoy light refreshments as they visit with vendors. Each registered bride will be entered in a drawing to win exclusive prizes and giveaways. The bridal show, hosted by the Douglasville Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), is free and open to brides and their guests to attend.
“Whether you are just starting your planning, finishing up the details, or anywhere in between, the Douglasville Bridal Showcase and Reception makes it easy for brides to plan their wedding,” said Randi Miles, Douglasville CVB sales manager.
Among other vendors, the bridal show will debut the new Douglasville Downtown Conference Center. With a 560 guest capacity, the new conference center will span more than 37,000-square-feet and feature a dividable ballroom, full-service kitchen, auditorium, meeting rooms and pre-function areas, as well as a board room and rear terrace overlooking Douglasville’s historic district. The new conference center is expected to open winter 2012-13. Events booked now for the new facility will receive current conference center rates.
