Friends and family paid tribute to Brandy Hart at a memorial ceremony held Thursday at Douglas County High School.
Brandy, a 17-year-old junior, was hit by 51-year-old Shirley Barker McManners of Douglasville. McManners' car struck Brandy right after she got off a school bus Tuesday night.
McManners faced her first court appearance Thursday.
