Billy James Pruitt, 75 of Temple, passed away March 4. He was born May 21, 1937 in Fulton County to the late Edgar Buman Pruitt and Mildred Pearl Long Pruitt. He worked during his career for the Atlanta Parks and Recreation and was Baptist by faith.

Survivors are his sisters: Joyce Williams, Brenda Cypress and Juanita Pruitt; brothers and sister-in-law: Bobby and Bernease Pruitt and Donald Pruitt.

Graveside Service will be held Friday, March 8, at 2 p.m. from Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Douglasville, with Minister Mike Powers officiating.

The family will receive friends, Thursday, March 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
