Army Vet Pilgrim Albert Patty, 89, Dies

The family will receive friends, Friday, Nov. 30, from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

 

Pilgrim Albert Patty, 89 of Douglasville, passed away, Monday, Nov. 26. He was born March 31, 1923 in Milton, GA., to the late Albert Pilgrim Patty and Eva Jones Patty. He was a U.S. Army Military Police Officer, worked during his career as a certified welder and was Christian by faith.

In addition to his parents, Albert Pilgrim Patty and Eva Jones Patty, he was preceded in death by his sons, Keith Patty, Steve Patty, spouses, Edna Mae Patty and Ailine Patty.

Survivors are his daughter, Teresa Patty, grandchildren: Donna Johnson, granddaughter and spouse, Mrs. Toni and Maxwell Heck, great granddaughter, Bethany Cox and Logan Hayes, loving pets, Hercules and Baybee.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. from Hightower’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Danny Stovall officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
