Alma Fowler Agan, 80, Dies

The family received friends Saturday at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica.

 

Alma Fowler Agan, 80 of Temple, passed away, Friday, Nov. 9, at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. She was born Nov. 20, 1931 in Douglas County, the daughter of the late John Fowler and the late Ira Bryant Fowler. She was a seamstress retiring in 1971 from Hubbard Pant Company. She was a member of the New Brooklyn Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William A. Agan, daughter-in-law, Sandra Lynn Agan, 3 brothers, J. T. Fowler, J.W. Fowler and Earl Fowler, one sister, Emma Driscoll.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Betty Agan of Carrollton, Jerry Agan of Temple and Rickey and Shelia Agan of Bremen, one sister, Mary Smith of Bremen, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.

The family received friends Saturday at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica.

Funeral Services were be conducted Sunday, Nov. 11, at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Spray and Preacher Mike McNeese. Interment will follow in the New Brooklyn Cemetery with grandsons; Charles Agan, Jeremy Agan, Josh Agan, Jason Agan, Randall Agan, Eugene Bailey and Anthony Robertson serving as pallbearers. Sammy Agan will serve as honorary pallbearer.
