Alexander JROTC Achieves Honor

Honor Unit with Distinction is the highest award an Army JROTC program can achieve worldwide.

The JROTC Battalion completed their Formal Inspection, conducted by 6th Brigade, Cadet Command on Feb. 3 and achieved the prestigious award “Honor Unit with Distinction.” 

This is the highest award an Army JROTC program can achieve worldwide. Led by Lt. Col. Sharon Franklin and 1st Sgt. Mark Arnold, the cadets of the Alexander Cougar Battalion demonstrated their knowledge of the curriculum, operating procedures, drill and ceremony, and leadership capabilities.  

Cadet Lt. Col. Terrence Thomas, cadet Maj. Colin Pothoff and cadet Command Sgt. Maj. Trever Latham lead the cadets.
