"Our team is led by three seniors who provide leadership for the other girls. Emily Grantham, Taylor Newell and Brittany Freeman," Lee Stanley said, golf coach at AHS. "They are excellent role models for the younger players on and off the course. Emily Cunningham has been outstanding this season. No one works harder than Emily and she has the scores to prove it. She has had the best scoring average on the team all three years she has competed."

The team's next challenge is the region championship at Bentwater Country Club on April 24.
