2 Big Easter Egg Hunts Coming Up
Come out and join the Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department for two Easter egg hunts.
This year the Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Flashlight Egg Hunt on March 23 and The Eggstravaganza on March 25.
The Flashlight Egg Hunt will be held at Deer Lick Park. The hunt will start at 8pm (or dark). Pre-registration is required for this event and the cost is $5 per person. The age categories for this hunt are 7 to 8, 9 to 10, 11 to 12 and 13 to 16. You must bring your own flashlight to participate.
The Eggstravaganza is one of the biggest Easter Egg Hunts in the county. It will be held at Boundary Waters Athletic Complex. The hunts will start promptly at 1 p.m. and the hunt times will be staggered between age groups. The cost of this event will be free. Age categories are 2 to 4 (Field 1), 5 to 6 (Field 2), 7 to 8 (Field 3), 9 to 10 (Field 4), 11 to 12 (Field 5). Come out and enjoy face painting, balloon animals, concessions (small fee), DJ and visit with the Easter Bunny.
