1,349 Votes Received in Advaced Voting
There are five locations that will be open this week for advanced voting in the presidential primary. Anyone can vote at any of the five locations.
As of today, there have been 1,179 votes cast in person and 170 votes received by mail, according to Laurie Fulton, Douglas County elections supervisor.
Anyone can go to any of the five locations to vote. They are: the Douglas County Courthouse; Deer Lick Park; Boundary Waters; the Old Courthouse and the Dog River Library.
Locations are open this week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Georgia Primary Election will be held on March 6. On election day, all voters must vote at their assigned polling place and polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Mail ballots will be accepted until 7 p.m. on March 6.
